Berry Christmas!
My Nan used to make trifle every Christmas—jam roll soaked with the syrup from tinned fruit (sherry when we got older!), tinned fruit, home-made custard, red and green jelly, and whipped cream—something for everyone! She can't make it anymore so I tried out this somewhat more grown-up chocolate berry version—deeelish!!
