Butterfly coat
Frustrated at the lack of nice non-pink coats for small girls, I made this for my first daughter, later worn also by her younger sister. Lined with bright butterfly-print satin and interlined with polar fleece, it's super smooth to put on and super snug to wear. The outer layer features machine embroidery of bees, flowers and butterflies, with bright ribbon trim and felt applique on the pockets.
